Just read:
“A woman woke up to find that one of her toes was missing and later discovered that her pet dachshund was responsible. She did not feel a thing because of nerve damage she suffered from diabetes. For the safety of others, the dog had to be euthanized. Certainly dogs and diabetes don’t mix.”

An Illinois woman says her beloved Roscoe, a miniature dachshund, gnawed off her right big toe while she was asleep and had to be euthanized because of safety concerns. Linda Floyd, 56, says she has no feeling in her toes because of nerve damage from diabetes. She discovered the toe missing after waking from a nap Monday. A veterinarian says the toe had been bandaged because of a healing hangnail. That might have somehow attracted the dog.
Oh Dear! I hope my toy poodle won’t do that.
